The Aikido Bridge series of seminar was started in 2005 under the guidance of Hiroshi Ikeda sensei with the Aikido Bridge “Un Pont” International Friendship Seminar held at Jiai Aikido in San Diego, CA.

Over the following years additional events around the country, and then internationally have joined the yearly Bridge Seminar series.

The purpose of the Bridge Seminars is to bring together teachers and students from different Aikido organizations and backgrounds to share their skills, build friendships, and support the future growth of Aikido. By combining the knowledge of many instructors we hope to keep the full legacy of Aikido alive in the next generations of students and instructors.
